According to Pro Football Focus, the highest graded rookie safety in the NFL in 2020 is an undrafted free agent — Tennessee’s Nigel Warrior.
PFF ranked Warrior the highest, with a grade of 90.1, just ahead of Auburn’s Jeremiah Dinson (89.9), Utah’s Julian Blackmon (89.6) and Minnesota’s Antoine Winfield (88.6).
Two of the four people listed (including Warrior) weren’t drafted in the NFL Draft. Shouldn’t the PFF rankings match a little more closely to how NFL coaches would view their value?
