This is regarding current commits who are hosting Tennessee coaches this week. It's a little different with these guys (obviously) compared to those the staff are trying to get to jump onboard. There's more pitching in those conversations with lots of football talks. With these commits, it's more conversations about life; catching up and in my opinion, really more for the parents.
These conversations discuss the logistics of how signing day will go and what a day in the life of a UT student-athlete looks like. These kids by now know their coaches recruiting them and have had several face-to-face conversations, whereas the parents haven't had as many. The families share meals with the coaches and talk for a while. One commit even watched Sunday Night Football with Heuepl. Just stuff like that.
More work to be done adding to this class but these in-home visits are important for commits as well with signing day now under two weeks away.
