If Barnes even hinted at retiring
Pearl would go down as our best coach ever if he came back
He's served his penalty for having a Jr HS recruit off campus for a bbq, calling his family to hide it and then a bump in secondary violations recruiting at a HS. All of this happened with one of the worst ADs in the history of the SEC they destroyed our football program and fired one of our best all time while hiring a coach that wasn't going to be mature enough to be a HC for almost 10 years later. He served that long ago and is the only elite coach that would come to UT and could make a Final 4 here
He's just made his 2nd Final 4 and it's a school that had one of the worst SEC basketball programs the prior to him getting there
Pat Summit would hire him tomorrow if she was AD..... IF Barnes retired
