Here are my notes/impressions. I largely watched the offensive side of the ball and focused specifically on QB drills. This may seem a bit scattered but I'll be happy to answer any questions if you have them.

Trey Smith worked as the 1st RT

JG worked as the QB with the ones most of the day it seemed.

Quentin looks like an NFL QB. Really spins it and is consistent for this early stage of spring ball.

Sheriron really impressed me today. Threw a beautiful deep ball. Every rep seemed solid and had a couple spectacular ones. Not saying it's a 3 horse race but there are definitely 3 SEC QBs on the roster.

That's not to slight McBride. Really liked his demeanor in practice. Ball jumps off his hand despite a wonky delivery. Simply looks like a "JV" guy size wise compared to the other 3 guys in the QB room.

JG's temperament was up and down at times today. Fiery for sure. But also missed some easy throws in the flats. Makes some splash plays and everything comes easily to him. Just needs refinement.

Devante Brooks wasn't in pads but looks to have an NFL body. Really impressed with his frame as an OT.

John Kelly is absolutely ELITE. Made our LBs look foolish in tackling drills. Plays with a ton of confidence.

Warrior ran with the 1's all day.

With JJ not dressed out, Marquez Callaway is the best WR on the field right now and 2nd best really isn't even close. Callaway caught everything and looks GROWN.

Light really has not come on for Jeff George like I had hoped. That goes for the entire WR group though. Today it was Callaway and everyone else.

In a 1 on 1 drill, JG threw an absolute seed to Callaway on a Dig Route. Just a laser.

Khalil seems to be moving really well. Can't imagine him missing the GT game.

Jashon Robertson will be a captain. Absolutely crawled the OL for lack of communication leading to a couple protection breakdowns.

Same for Eman Moseley. Constantly encouraging the entire team. Love how he interacts with his teammates.

Rock snapped for the QBs during at least one drill. Really a cool form of servant leadership. Seems genuinely happy to be as Vol. Had a great rapport with everyone on the roster.

Canales is a huge upgrade. Just carries himself like a big time QB coach. QBs are constantly accountable. Noticed them constantly taking reps on air running through run game footwork during downtime between drills. It was impressive.
