Attorneys on the board, the “inducement” crap from the NCAA

I’m no attorney, but i know a little bit. Once the supreme court layed out that the NCAA can not restrict an athletes ability to earn an income, does this “inducement” BS even hold water?

I’m not sure how you draw the line that they can be paid as a student athlete of the school, but not a second beforehand. Of course California called BS on that and put it in their NIL law. I know pretty much no one on this board likes California, but sure seems like they got this right.

If i want to pay a kid personally $50,000 to come to Tennessee and the kid accepts and comes to Tennessee….under which law of the land is that illegal?

I’ll be all for a gofundme….and maybe this is the approach of Spyre and others…..to tell the NCAA to fuq off, they have no legal leg to stand on
