I am sure others have noticed and perhaps there’s a post I missed, but Auburn had two distinct advantages in its SEC schedule:
1. Amongst the Big 4 (Aub, TN, KY, Ark) they only played three games. KY and Ark each played 4, and TN played 5.
2. Aub was the only one of the Big 4 who enjoyed two automatic wins vs UGA. The other three only faced UGA once.
Yet another reason to hate Stankey and his Birmingham Mafia. Bet the SEC Network won’t address these obvious advantages.
