Rank these arms in terms of pure stuff. Or career stats. Or singular season. Or postseason. But state your argument. I put one lefty in there to spice it up. You can answer however you see fit. In terms of stuff. Who you would rather start a big game. Their stats. In no particular order:


Roy (Doc) Halladay






Mike Mussina





Kevin Brown





Andy Pettite







If I have my choice of these pitchers in their prime, or at their best shall we say, my order as is follows:


1. Kevin Brown
2. Doc Halladay
3. Mike Mussina
4. Andy Pettite



Call me a Yankee hater, but I just don't love Andy. No doubt his postseason speaks for itself, but these other guys have much superior stuff. And it isn't close. When Kevin Brown was at his best, he was as untouchable as I've ever seen. That slider fell off a table at 91MPH
