I would like to hear opnions on where this is headed... I think that of course in future more and more players will sit out bowl games unless team is in Final 4 .. It has taken so much emphasis off bowl games and I dont blame players that have potential to make generational life changing money.. Now because of that I think TV rating for those bowl games will suffer, attendance wil decline at bowl games without better players playing in them.. Does this force NCAA and CFB to look more seriously at changing the system back to the way it was or even going to 8 or 16 team playoff /cancelling conference championships to do so to get more of the players to play in postseason bowl games? Also the DT that left Oklahoma halfway thru the season this year.. The NCAA better hope that kid doesnt excell at Combine and shoot up draft boards and become at 1st or 2nd rounder and improve his self finacially. If hd does more players on teams that are eliminated from playoff picture and possibly those that arent may start leaving halfway thru there jun/senior year.. If even playing in it at all.. If the GMs of NFL teams look past fact fhey left early and draft those kids high.. Now if that happens the NCAA will have to take a long look at paying players.. This could really be leading down a slippery slope for NCAA and CFB.. For those that think players shoud stick it out what is the difference than them not playig in bowl and Tom Herman leaving for Texas or Brian Kelly not coaching Cincinnatti in bowl game couple years back.. Just my random thought on matter... I broke my arm and tore my patellar tendon (connects kned cap to shin) last week so I got some time on my hands to think of this random stuff
