I love how the small guys with a fresh set of legs can come in, play their hearts out, and make things happen. Obviously, it almost bit us in the ass but I don't think you see South Alabama beating MSU in the middle of the season. Don't think you see La Tech hanging with Arky.
I'm not the least bit shocked Houston won but I think their odds of winning go down as the season progresses. Season starts to take its toll and the talent and depth of other teams becomes a much bigger factor.
I've always said Boise St was one of the best teams in the country in Week 1 and in bowl games. Their really good teams could probably beat just about anyone in the country those weeks.
