Etienne seems unlikely. I don't think it's beyond that realm that we end up signing him, but he's pretty clearly going to take those TAMU and LSU visits.
We are the best offer for Thaxton, Palmer and Payton. I'm hopeful we wouldn't be willing to take any of those guys this weekend though. Not that all aren't good prospects (and ftr I like Thaxton and Palmer quite a bit), but they are clearly not at the top of their respective position boards.
So that leaves Conliffe. We've pretty clearly got momentum, and he's already taken his PSU visit two months ago. He clearly likes Bama but has to know that everyone thinks they won't have room for him and what the implication of that is - I don't think he has to operate with a "bird in hand" mentality when it comes to UT, because I think we'd take him on NSD, but I'm talking about knowing what Bama actually thinks of him relative to other top prospects.
Ultimate question is, do you think Conliffe is a real possibility to commit and shut it down (i.e., not take remaining OVs to Bama and/or UF)?
And am I offbase anywhere else above in terms of the other visitors?
