With Butch not even placing him in the top 3 at MLB, I'm wondering what the scoop is. I know he's coming off a tough injury. I know he's dinged up again. And I know he's still just a freshman. But is it valid to begin to wonder whether we'll ever see much production from him? How dinged up is he? Are there whispers that maybe the recruiting sites overrated his ability? Are his injuries the type that some guys never fully recover from? Is he out of position - might they move him outside? Was the 4th string/scout team assignment a wake-up call/motivational ploy from Butch, possibly because he lacks commitment?
