Could Butch possibly be thinking about bringing in Debord as a Co-OC/Run game coordinator role, he's been successful in the running game everywhere he's been & has experience calling plays, and then promoting Azzani to a Co-OC/pass game coordinator role, he knows the passing game really well and he could keep coaching WR's. And then, as you've guys talked about a lot this week about how much the staff and players love Sheridan and think he has a bright future, he could allow Sheridan to coach the QB's next season?

In this scenario he would be getting Debord back in the game, getting his name back out there, allow him to get experience in a spread attack that would enhance his resume for possibly a better NFL job, while at same time allowing Azzani to grow into the role as an OC, learn from an experience person in Debord, and not just throw him to the wolves per say.

Then going into '16 Azzani could take full control of the OC duties, still coach WR's, and then promote Sheridan to a full time QB coach role. Debord could then leave for the NFL with new experiences and time in a spread attack (which is taking the NFL by storm right now).

Far fetched scenario I know but just something that crossed my mind.

I would actually be in favor of something like this and could understand Butch's thinking.

This would also allow them to keep the familiarity, trust, and same offense/terminology that Jones talked on last night.
