He could alleviate 95% of the the fan and media speculation by simply releasing a small amount of detail on these things. He doesn't have to be specific. But he could say for instance "North tweaked his knee a little in practice but we don't expect it to be serious"...........THAT.............would be all most need. If it turns out to be worse after testing then that can be updated later. And I know all about HIPAA rules and such. But SOME info can and should be released.
He should know by now how much this fan base looks for information. He does everything he can do to excite and involve the fan base. He can't expect to be so tight-lipped on this type info and people and media not speculate. He can't expect to have it both ways.
