How soon can the general public purchase the following year model vehicles? I currently cannot go to Jeep and purchase a 2018 vehicle. They won't be out until mid to late Q3 I'm told.
Reason I ask is I currently have a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee I am being told was built on 3/8/2013, and has an "in service" date of 4/22/2013. I'm being told that the 4/22/2013 date is the start of the warranty period.
I'm curious how it's possible to have purchaed a year model 2014 vehicle in the beginning of Q2 of 2013.
