Car insurance fender bender question

I hit a car barely and a body shop I got to look at it said $300 to fix. They went to 2 others and got a $650 quote and $2000. They also want a rental car until it’s fixed. What are the options here? They get to use whatever body shop? The price difference is wild but wondering with it being a smaller fix if I do insurance how much a premium will increase? I’ve never filed a claim on 20 plus years driving
