Was surfing last night because I could not sleep and came across the roast of Rob Lowe. Has anyone else seen this? Peyton was one of the guest and did quite well. However, it must have been one of the most uncomfortable roasts in history. Anne Coulter was one of the guest, and the entire situation was awkward. Let me first say that I think she is horrible. They roasted her over and over and nothing seemed off limits. The crowd, obviously mostly liberal Hollywood types, just laughed and laughed. She certainly took the bulk of the roasting that night. The worst part about it was when it was time for her to roast everyone else. Even though her jokes were not great (not a comedian) they were good enough to laugh at, but everyone turned to stone and basically refused to laugh at anything she was saying. Instead, they acted like everything she was saying was offending them. If you have ever watched these roasts then you know that there is nothing taboo. Yet she was treated like that. Peyton might not agree with some of the things she believes, but you could tell that he felt sorry for her. This was an example of actions that give people that might just lean more towards the middle or the left such a bad reputation. Not trying to start a political debate here.
