I was thinking about this while watching the pregame and halftime analyst during the Super Bowl. I really started think about it after watching David Feherty interview Emmitt Smith. That man is as sharp as a tack. Think of these names. Howie Long, Troy Aikman, Michael Strahan, T Bradshaw, Emmitt Smith, Jim Brown, Ray Lewis, Dion Sanders, Peyton Manning, Steve Largent. The list could go on and on. I am sure that these guys have lots of aches and pains and and maybe some serious structural damage to their body. But they appear to be mentally all there. I know we don't know what is going on behind closed doors, but it just appears that these guys do not suffer from the cerebral issues that lots of other former pros do. Is there something else going on? Opinions.
