The offense looks good and can score on anyone. The defensive line play has improved over last year. Last year we could not get a stop on third down. Receivers were open all day against our zone coverage. This year it has not improved. Florida could not be stopped on third or fourth down. Florida receivers were wide open given the quarterback multiple targets. How long will it take for Banks and company to change our coverage. Another area we did not get a lot of pressure on the Florida quarterback, which gave him time to pick a target. We did not blitz most of the game. Thanks that our coach knows this, and his plan is to outscore the other team, but change in coverage must happen.
I continue to be impressed by our head coach, he is very cool under pressure, and his positiveness wears on the whole team. This is the first time in a long time that I had faith that we could beat Florida.
