Caleb Tannor is visiting this weekend. Was here for the February Junior Day and likes us a whole lot. He's absolutely blown up this spring and is going to be a battle between major SEC powers (Bama, UGA, AU, maybe UF). Looks like UT and UGA could be his current Top 2 though, so it's really nice to get him back on campus.
Sounds like we're in good shape with Madison Norris from IN. Offer list isn't outstanding at this point, likely because's he's only somewhere between 190-200 lbs. Sounds like a Bembry type Rush DE with more length, and also sounds like we're pretty high on him. Here's a writeup from a February Midwest camp:
"A uniquely long pass rusher that also was a handful for offensive tackles off the edge. Norris is a plus athlete that is being recruited as a stand-up edge guy by all the programs recruiting him. A talented high-hurdler that finished 13th in the state as a sophomore..."
* Chris Collins recently got an offer and shined at the Charlotte Rivals Camp:
"Recruiting wrap: Louisville, North Carolina, Pittsburgh, and Tennessee are the schools Collins is taking seriously heading into his commitment, which is about a month away.
Performance: Collins came to the camp on a mission. He had a tenacity and edge to him that wasn’t there this time last year. Collins blew past offensive tackles and his arsenal of pass rushing moves was extensive. Look for Collins to continue filling out his frame and get stronger as he rounds out his game."
* Interesting that Jordan Davis told @RobCassidy_Rivals that UF is his strong #2. Maybe he's like Max Wray in that he's just not that into us?
