is fixated on calling a straight handoff to Hurd. I would love to know the number of times time that has been his first down call and how many times it has gone for negative, 1, or 2 yards. Swing pass or slant, or Dobbs pulling it out and keeping, or rolling out on a run/pass, or giving or faking on a jet sweep, or running Kamara wide... So many things we could do but with DeBord's favorite call it seems like it's Hurd for practically no gain more than any other result. I would love to see him give a defense more things to think about on first down. Puts so much pressure on an inconsistent offense to always be in 2nd and long. The better defenses we'll face in the next two weeks will have us in the 3 and out mode unless DeBord changes.
