Remember when Billy Goat Lou complained about the noise in Neyland in 2001 like the lil whiner he is? He threatened to not come out of the huddle unless they could call their plays.
I know their is an artificial noisemaker rule but I never knew there was an actual overall noise rule. Apparently in 2001 in had been in effect for 8 years but had never been enforced and Lou wanted the refs to penalize Vols for the stadium being too loud
I’m not sure if I ever despised any coach more than Lou Holtz. It was extra special making him squirm when he was at USC jr and he was always good for making an ass of himself on ESPN too when conversation involved Tennessee
That’s what I want is other coaches and fans to just hate us again. Like the nerd at Missouri. Means were back if they all hate us.
