I am sure it has happened but I can't remember any. The SC jr punt return team reminds me of the Dooley years--just catch the damn ball. They have tried multiple guys and benched the starter last week after he dropped the ball. Now it looks like Hayden Hurst, a 252 pound tight end, will get the call. You might remember he was the guy who tried to jump the Kentucky guy and got body slammed.
Hurst signed a baseball contract out of HS and played two years and then walked on at SC. I think he is now the leading receiver and is a good athlete, moves well, very well for a big guy.
