For 2020 to be successful, the TN offense will need to find a slightly different identity. In 2019, the Vols had QBs with big arms and really good WRs. And they used it to their advantage.
TN finished third in the SEC in explosive passing plays behind only Alabama and LSU.
On the Running side of things, it was the opposite. The Vols finished dead last in the SEC for Explosive running plays. They also were terrible at converting TDs in the Red Zone.
Chaney took advantage of what he had last season, but with the loss of Callaway and Jennings, the Vols will need to get more out of this OL on the ground to take the next step Offensively.
