I never make posts anywhere asking people for donations but one of my best friends brother lost 2 of his kids Sunday in a freak accident 3 days before Christmas. He is a retired Marine and combat veteran and one of the best guys you would ever want to meet. The entire family is absolutely devastated. Please help if you can.

This is the message from my friend:
The mood will be somber during Christmas for my family this year. My youngest brother Terry Token Hicks and his wife Jess are dealing with the tragic loss of their two youngest children, Terrence and Cleveland, who fell into a frozen pond and drowned on Sunday, 3 days before Christmas. Tey and CJ went off riding their bikes, and when they didn't return in time, the family went looking for them. One was found floating in the pond by a driver on the side of the road, and another was discovered under the ice by a diver on the search and rescue team. Terry, his wife, and his other two children Drea and Jacob, as well as our entire extended family, are absolutely devastated. There is never a good time for a tragedy like this, and no way to prepare for it emotionally. The fact that it happened 3 days before Christmas, to two of the sweetest, kindest boys in the world makes it especially heartbreaking. We pray that God nurtures the sweet spirits of these boys in heaven, and pray that He finds a way to comfort Terry and Jess in this time of overwhelming grief.

In the meantime, in this season of giving... if you can do anything, anything at all, to help Terry's family deal with the sudden funeral expenses and everything else that comes with this great loss, please do. Anyone who knows Terry knows that he is a 15-year Marine Corps vet who fought in Iraq and Afghanistan, and the type who would always put everyone before himself, and would do anything for others. I've posted a GoFundMe link so that you can donate to help these guys in this season of need and beyond. Christmas will never be the same for them, but I hope that, in addition to the much-needed financial assistance, they at least find comfort in the love and generosity of others.

In addition to your donation, or even if you don't have the means to give, if you could please simply share this story on your own page, social networks, or share it with others who may be able to support his family. Thanks to everyone for your prayers and support during this extremely difficult time.
