A little over a month ago, we had a pompous and arrogant AD conducting a coaching search like an inexperienced, in over his head AD would and on the verge of hiring Greg Schiano. Now, we have an AD who exudes confidence and made a great hire in CJP. We are doing better than expected in basketball, too.
I look at other schools that are going through scandals and all kinds of turmoil, notably Louisville, LSU, Arizona, Arizona State, Ole Miss, Auburn, etc. and thank goodness we are on a better track. I am not saying it is “fixed,” but it sure feels good from where we could have been.
