This is what it was like for many years - better defined as any year when Cut wasn't the OC. Constantly on the field, constantly wearing down, constantly being criticized by fans who didn't see the effects of completely incompetent offenses.
Pruitt has done a fantastic job building up this defense from nothing, at all levels. We still need more depth and have some holes, as should be expected, but they're competing at a very high level. The goal line stand at UGA says it all. If you don't see that, I can't help you.
Pruitt and Fulmer will fix the O, but all this fatalistic talk is dumb. It's a total rebuild. There were/are going to be setbacks and bad games, esp in a covid year. Maybe Chaney isn't the right guy, but all the powers are aligned to keep building this thing, and Pruitt won't be outworked.
Onward to the Bailey era.
