I have heard coaches say before that freshman just can not imagine the rigors of an SEC schedule and college work. Heard often explaining why freshmen fizzle some as the year wanes on.
Since we have a lineup full of freshman, could this be the primary reason for the dropoff as of late? Grant Williams looks like he is wearing concrete shoes. The guards have no skip in their step. Course, Bowden has had pneumonia. There is virtually NO senior leadership from Hubbs. He disappears in games more than the freshmen do.
Could they just be physically, as well as, mentally beat?
