Genuine curious question - why do more people (especially alumni) not waltz after the game?

Ever since my time there we have always stayed, win or loss, and waltzed. Is it genuinely just a people don't have time for it? I don't understand that as normally regardless of when you leave you're going to be in some heavy traffic.

As a student during the Dooley years, there were some atrocious games - and we always waltzed. P

Yes people have lives, but if you have nowhere to be you might as well stay the whole game through. People who end up going home and watching college football after leaving the game early just baffle me.

Not insulting or anything, just more curiosity.
