I think Palmer is a very good prospect at WR. But the idea that having another WR (EVEN IF Murphy doesn't qualify) over a quality (Bigtime? Who knows. But certainly quality) DT makes very little sense to me.

And what makes it so much worse of a tactical decision is that you're throwing a major lifeline to your biggest rival who is absolutely DROWNING in recruiting in general and DT specifically (on the roster and in this class).

I hope it works out that we either land Conliffe or that he goes to UL or even Bama. But effectively sending him to UF in exchange for another WR is a colossal, unforced error if that's what happens. And it's even stranger in light of them bringing in Pouncey and (possibly) Matthews.
