Griff: Trey Smith's Career in Jeopardy

I admit I never really know what to make of Mike Griffith. Sometimes he seems legit, other times just a yuge media blowhard. A little while ago, however, he posted that Trey Smith's football future is in doubt. (Link here.) We've gotten almost no news whatsoever about Smith's condition, but he continues to practice with the S&C staff, and I know that earlier indications were he'd be ready to go by fall camp. What do we make of this? Griffith just being clickbait-y, or real cause for concern?
