The criticism of him and the program seems almost personal.
Obviously he's not perfect, but the guy has taken us from the depths of Derek Dooley and getting run off the field by Vandy to pre-season top 10. Yet some act like he is a buffoon who should be on the hot seat.
This narrative from opposing fans, I take as them realizing we have a good coach and they are hoping we do something dumb to run him off. But some respected national media seem to have the same grudge against him.
If we had literally hired Nick Saban in December 2012, what our record through 3 years been that much better? Would our current roster be that much better? For example, no one was beating 2013 Bama, Oregon, or Auburn with the guys we were forced to play.
