Putting this out there for one of my best friends. His 6 year old daughter, Eva, was diagnosed with a very serious type of stage 4 cancer a few weeks ago. It’s in one of her kidneys and starter spreading to her lungs. So serious that when she went to her pediatrician and they suspected something was wrong, they sent her straight to the hospital a few weeks ago without going home.
Eva started chemotherapy two weeks ago at TC Thompson’s Children’s Hospital in Chattanooga, and they’re waiting for a spot at Vanderbilt hopefully.
My buddy’s wife had to quit her job to help care for Eva and stay with her 24/7, and the medical bills are quickly mounting up. So if you’re able to help them out, see the GoFundMe link below.
If it matters, my buddy is an Ohio State fan, but he’s got the Vol spirit as he is one of those guys who literally goes out of his way to help others when they’re in need. I know of a few things he’s done for others before that were extremely generous. Would love to see that returned to him and his family during this challenging season.
If you’re able to throw up prayers, lift little Eva up today. She had a chemo treatment today that is supposed to be very hard on her little body. Please pray that she will be able to get the care she needs to fight through this with what we hope will show some shrinking of tumor on next week’s scans so they can possibly remove the kidney with cancer and focus on stopping the spread.
