Straight up told me that Nick Saban's recruiting pitch and presentation is far superior to anyone else's. He said that Clemson was second and that we were middle of the pack at best. I pressed him on the issue as to what he meant and he said that those two schools just had the "wow factor" that we didn't have. He said his kid wasn't even one of their top targets but they made him feel like he was the only player they were recruiting. We were sort of meh.....
