The days of promoting an old Football Coach to AD are long gone. I'd much rather have a young sharp business man who can negotiate with the best of them and who understands how big time College athletics work in Todays environment. I love Phil Fulmer and what he did for our University but give me a Greg Byrne type of guy any day of the week over an old coach. Get that type of guy and continue to use Coach Fulmer to help with other crucial elements like fund raising and etc...
