I try to follow recruiting as much as possible and these are the names that Tennessee was either in on/committed or at least had a chance to land as well as those that are still committed. Fun to think about and is the difference in someone like Alabama. We hope to get some of these guys and they get all their guys.

Cam Akers-5 Star, #3 overall
Lamont Wade-5 Star, #11 overall
Tee Higgins-5 Star, #15 overall
Hunter Johnson-5 Star, #18 overall
Jacoby Stevens-5 Star, #28 overall (don't think ever in it with him but he is an instate guy)
Jacob Phillips-5 Star, #29 overall (again never recruited him why I don't know, instate guy)
LaBryan Ray-4 Star, #45 overall (Hope to get him)
Trey Smith-4 Star #49 overall (enrolled)
Ty Chandler-4 Star #80 overall (commit)
Maleik Gray-4 Star #86 overall (commit)
Deangelo Gibbs-4 Star #132 overall
Amari Rogers-4 Star #186 overall
Obinna Eze-4 Star #238 overall (never heard of him but instate guy)

Again some of these might have been wishful thinking and we were not really in on them. I am no insider but these are the names that stuck with me during this class that I heard mentioned.

This would be the #1 class overall and is the type class that it takes to win a National Championship.

2 RB
4 DB
2 WR
1 QB
1 LB
2 OL
