I think a lot of us can agree that one of the foundations of having a really good football team is having the best players coming to play for you. We see it year after year with teams like Alabama, Ohio State, and now even Clemson.
Thinking about the recent additions and subtractions of our football staff, I had a question come to me....
Would you rather having an incredible recruiter (one of the top in the country), but their coaching is poor? Lets compare to coaching of say a Willie Martinez.
Or would you have one of the best coaches in the country, but their recruiting is awful? Lets think maybe someone similar to a David Cutcliffe. Lets not get caught up in the comparison of coaches but more on the principal of the question.
I think I would choose having one of the best recruiters. I think that if you pull the best players, their natural ability and athleticism could make up for poor coaching.
What does the GQ think of this matter/
