Regardless of what anyone here believes about playing at dear old UT, a man makes his own way in life.
If a kid is ready to start drawing a paycheck and leave all the undergrad fiddle-faddle behind, I don’t blame him a bit. And all this “he lost money leaving this year” is horseshit, as well. You can’t assume an income will happen in this sport. Injury is all too common.
Most of these kids are choosing to big boy up and make a little money while they can.
I wish them well.
