I'm actually hopeful since the SEC is awful. There is a big gap between Auburn and the rest of the league. If we can be coached up to be AVERAGE in a lot of areas and be +5 in turnover margin, 7 wins and 4-4 in SEC is not out of the question.
I don't think coaching will magically turn Phillips and Kongbo into all SEC players, but I think they can be good enough to become players that don't get you beat.
With that said, if we go 0-8 again, without a doubt Butch Jones will go to the head of the class as worst hire ever by Tennessee. He would have recruited the "talent" that lost the last 9 SEC games on his watch and given us this season.
