Tennessee is not good enough to beat UGA or Alabama at this point. That having been said, this season is going to be crazy. Some good teams will lose games they shouldn’t lose (see Florida, LSU and nearly Alabama and Auburn yesterday).
If Tennessee can be consistent and beat everyone except Alabama (none of those games will be easy), they could have a chance for a big time game against Florida for the chance at a New Year’s Six Bowl.
If you want the Vols to take the next step in recruiting, they still have a chance to do just that. The season isn’t over. There is a lot left to play for. The first step is beating Kentucky.
