I have a feeling of vague anxiousness, unease

As I sit here working today. Same as yesterday. And just like every year, I ultimately realize what's going on: "Oh, it's Florida week."

Logically, everything points in our favor this weekend. And I'm generally the eternal optimist. And I'm sick to death of the board chatter this time of year about backup QBs winning the Heisman, inexplicable turnovers, bad calls, rubbing the salt in the wounds from old fiascos, etc.

I actually think we will beat them this year. Expect to beat them? Emotionally, I don't know if I'm quite there yet.

But I do know this: we are way overdue for laying an absolute shellacking on them. Like that Dale Carter game way back when.

I don't feel this way about any other team, even Alabama. Bama simply has had way too many 5 stars to deal with, the league office in their pocket, etc. Sure, I want to erupt on the hated Tide as well, but I STILL don't feel that stinking uneasiness that the Gators seem to bring out.

Not just this game, but this SERIES is like a huge, rotting cyst that needs a date with Dr. Pimple Popper.
