I hear this song and dance on here all the time. It goes something like just drop $7M and go get Gruden, or Petersen, or whoever the big name of the moment is. LSU has now tried to give both Jimbo and Herman (and who knows who else) a blank check and nobody will take their money. Now LSU - a premium job - is going to pay a sizable amount to a guy that got run out of town at Ole Miss.
