I don’t expect him to reclassify, but going into next year with Salter, Bailey and Simpson would be a dramatic change in QB talent. Three true FR QBs would mean a lot of young mistakes, but the entire offense would probably be set up as a “check with me” system, which puts everyone on the same level.
Also, it would allow TN to take one of the 2022 QBs that they are already in on. If Ty Simpson remains a 2022 recruit, and he joins the Vols, that would be their only QB recruit. If he reclassified, the Vols could possibly add Sam Horn, who I really like as well.
