So people that follow hockey threads on this board know I have played goalie in ice hockey for a very large portion of my life. I used to be pretty decent as I was able to play D-1 hockey and overseas in Russia before turning down a chance to play in the Flyers system.
So, long story short I made the save of my life tonight. @Volocipede was starting to drift off after his second beer, and attempted to ordered a Bud Light. As the bartender grabbed the glass and almost started pouring I yelled, "NO!" I then directed the bartender to the fridge to get a Goose Island Bourbon County. He is now sitting placidly sipping on his beer.
