My assumption is that Hooker limits the passing plays the coaches feel comfortable calling, but I obviously have no clue if this is true. What I do know is that over half of hooker's completions (and about 90 of his 190 yards) were throws completed behind the line of scrimmage. That may be what a normal offense under Heupel would look like regardless of QB, but that's the one part of hooker's game that concerns me.
If hooker is our starter the rest of the year, that's totally fine with me, I think he will do well, but I hope Milton gets one more chance at some point. We got any other people left holding out hope with me?
