Nathan Leacock is a 2023 Tennessee wide receiver commit. I've written about him a few times in the past month due to his explosive start to the season. He's got 14 touchdowns and 906 receiving yards on 37 catches to open the season. He plays on one of the top 15 teams in North Carolina at Millbrook High School in Raleigh, NC. The program is undefeated through its first six games and defeats opponents by an average of about 39 points per game.
While he may not be facing as much elite competition as he would in a city like Los Angeles, Miami, or Atlanta - he is producing insane stat lines and impressive highlight reels. He's got two +200-yard receiving games and four +100-yard performances. He scored five touchdowns in a game on September 9.
Leacock is performing the way a Power Five commit should against inferior talent. Rivals currently has Nathan Leacock rated as a three-star prospect (5.7 rating). I'm new to Rivals and am not on the rankings committed- but if I was... I'd advocate for Leacock to get the fourth star.
After this insanely hot start to the season, I'm not sure what more we can ask from him- but he's clearly shown enough to be a four-star.
Here's his tape. Check it out and let me know what you think:
