Before I get flamed, I’ll explain why I don’t hate them anymore.
My cousin was a really big Georgia football fan. A few weeks ago, Covid got the best of him and he passed away. With this in mind, I was going to root for them moving forward until they played UT, of course.
However, Kirby Smart got wind of my cousin passing, and he sent a letter of condolence to his wife and their kids. Things like this make a lot of the pure hatred I had for a sports team go away. Sports aren’t everything at the end of the day.
RIP to Kevin Copley and (whenever they aren’t playing us), Go Dawgs.
