While pumping iron in the gym, they had a soccer match on the TV monitors. There was a team from France who has our exact shade of orange. They were wearing orange shirts and shorts trimmed with black numerals and stripe. No white trim at all. It looked pretty dang good.
Let me tell you, if we could update the font for our numbers and “Tennessee” on our mens hoops and baseball jerseys, that would be one sharp uniform as an alternate.
The same could be said in football too. An orange helmet with a black power T, updated font of black numbers, and a thin black line down the legs… no white trim anywhere. Badass look.
