The power 5 conferences need to defect and create an entirely separate governing body. The NCAA can keep the scrubs and manage them however they want. Completely restructure the regular season/playoffs with power 5 teams only.
If it's my decision:
Roy Williams gets a 5 year show cause (if you don't think he was aware, you're insane)
UNC basketball gets 5 years probation with 3 years no post season & a reduction of 2 scholarships per year for 3 years of that time. Allow transfers without penalty.
UNC football gets 5 years probation with 2 years no post season & a reduction of 6 scholarships per year for 3 years. Allow transfers without penalty.
All other affected UNC athletics programs get 5 years and similar scholarship % yanked. Transfers without penalty across the board.
Ole Miss gets 1 year post season ban, 3 years probation and reduction of 2 scholarships per year for 3 years. Allow any affected JR or SR to transfer without penalty.
That's how you lay down the law. Not pussy-footing around and covering for blue blood programs and fake Christian hacks like Freeze.
