Kentucky is not likely to go undefeated the rest of the way, and a win Saturday would put them only a game out of first place. We would have the tie breaker over Kentucky and would need some help with one Auburn loss to make this happen.This is a lot of “ifs” and probably wishful thinking, but is still a possibility. I wouldn’t have imagined this being even remotely possible when they were 2-3 out of the gate. I think this team is finally peaking at the right time under Barnes.
If vols win Saturday, they could be playing for the title March 5th.
