Unfortunately not a ton of elite talent, even with the pending additions, but solid SEC players from top to bottom.
Bennett and Crosby are cookie-cutter 4-3 DTs. Both need some quality time in the weight room to look SEC ready, but we won't need them to play for at least a year.
Bembry is a unique athlete. Brent has stated he certainly need some time to get bigger if he wants to be a DE, but 40 pounds isn't a stretch and he has time to do so. He's a poor man's Darrell Taylor, IMO.
Matthew Butler reminds me of Kyle Phillips in the way he is built, but probably more suited to hold more weight. (Phillips is also a better athlete.) IMO Butler starts out as a DE and see where his weight goes moving into year 2.
Sterling is my favorite player of the group. He's currently 6'2 265... I'll be very interested to see if he stays at that weight and plays DE (Think Brandon Graham of the Eagles if he does) or if he plays at 285 and slides inside (Aaron Donald would be my comparison in that case.)
I haven't watched Conliffe much, but 6'4 304 and an insane offer list is good enough more me.
Last I heard Bumphus wanted to play TE. IMHO he is better suited to be a DE... Anyone have any info there?
